Nevermore: A Sherlock Fanfiction End (Chapter 7)

    I was dying, but I still, with everything believed, in Sherlock, I knew in my heart he would find me.
    My heartbeat was slowing and my body was freezing, it was painful, but even then I still had hope. I was about to pass out, when I heard shouting, it was John,
   “Sherlock, you can’t go into the water, you won’t be much good frozen, in the boat.” Just seconds later a boat was by my side, Sherlock cut the rope and pulled me onto the boat, he moved the raven black hair off of my face, with my pale bluish skin I looked dead,  
   “Abigail?” he place a warm palm on the side of my face.
    My green eyes fluttered open, “I knew you would find me.” I said in a soft whisper.
    He smiled a half smile as a single tear ran down his cheek, I raised my good arm and wiped it away, Then he pulled my closer careful not to mess with my shoulder, and kissed me, suddenly my pain melted away, just for a few moments it was gone. When he looked in me in the eyes again, I knew I was going to be okay, just one look told me, I was… safe.
